The world woke up this morning to the devastating news of Hollywood star, Chadwick Boseman’s death.
Chadwick Boseman, a black actor best known for his star role in the movie, Black Panther, died aged 43 on Friday night August 28, after a four-year battle with colon cancer.
He passed away at his Los Angeles home with his wife, Taylor Simone, and other family members by his side.
Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago, his family said in a statement.
A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” his family said.
From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wildson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy,” the statement said of the star’s private health struggle.
“It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.
“He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.”
