The successor of the Oppo A92 is really a Reno 3 Pro that has lost a bit of weight. This super slim build is very light and compact, one can only but wonder how they fit a 4000mAh battery in it.
4000mAh may sound average now that there are a plethora of phones with 5000mAh+ battery capacity, including the A92.
However, Oppo A93 boasts of a super power saving mode, which I first experienced on the Reno series and in my experience, it pushes the limits of how long 4000mAh should last. Moreso, it support 18W fast charging + smart charging, to protect your battery health.
The Oppo A93 is also generous when it comes to the camera, it packs a ton of features and also records videos in 4K, but only 1080P videos have EIS. While the camera is better than the A92, A92 is compatible with GCAM and GCAM is undefeated.
The ColorOS 7.2 on the A93 comes with nifty features like Multi User and Air Gestures for picking calls without contact, a feature the A92 lacks. Also spots a crispy Super AMOLED FHD+ Display which is a step up from the LCD of the A92.
